If you can’t tell by my author bio, I am a huge fan of Marvel in almost all forms (excepting the reboot of Spider-Man). I also work weekends for a little extra cash and the free movies perk at a movie theater. So, as you can imagine, I am normally up to date when it comes to trailers and movie news because I love the cinema so much.
Imagine my surprise when the teaser trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which was supposed to be attached to Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar next month arrived online early! If you are a Marvel fan, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
There is such an art to trailers. It’s like giving you a small taste of a larger movie meal. Joss Whedon is also a master of trailers, in my opinion. This trailer is visually stunning and the music is incredibly appropriate in tying everything together. Needless to say, I can’t wait to see this movie next year.
And wouldn’t you know it? There are quite a few shots of my favorite Avenger and Marvel character, Captain America (or as I call him, Cap) in suit, and maybe, for a split second, in his normal civilian outfit. Is there going to be more of his normal life shown in this installment in the MCU? I hope so. That was my main gripe with the first Avengers, even though it was a great movie. I just wanted more of Cap after he’d woken up in a strange new time. The Winter Soldier definitely gave me that, albeit without the other Avengers commenting on him. Everyone loves to heckle Cap, especially Tony Stark! I think there are great things coming our way.
I watched this six or seven times now, and each viewing as left me more and more excited to see it. James Spader is going to be one hell of a good Ultron. Why can’t it be May now though?!

I know. It’s so long to wait. I guess I’ll have to read some comics to satisfy me until then! It looks amazing, and definitely a great choice for the villain.
